MAFAD Company was incorporated in November 2002 — a moment when Sudan's economy was accelerating and its agricultural potential was emerging as a national priority. We were founded not just to participate in that growth, but to lead it.
FOUNDATION & GROWTH
Where We Came From
MAFAD Engineering, Trading and Investment Co. Ltd. was established under the Companies Act of 1925, with a mandate to deliver development projects across Sudan. From our first canal cleaning contracts in the Gezira scheme to complex multi-phase water network projects across Khartoum, we built our reputation one delivered project at a time.
Today, MAFAD Company represents the evolution of that original vision — a diversified, internationally-oriented enterprise with four operating divisions and a growing portfolio of projects that span engineering, commerce, investment, and industry.
We remain anchored in Sudan — its land, its people, its potential — while orienting our capabilities and partnerships toward the global stage.
